Ernest
Holmes was a public speaker, religious
leader and author. He is recognized
internationally as an authority on religious
psychology and as the founder of the
worldwide Religious Science movement.
In
1926 his book "Science of Mind"
was published and the Institute of Religious
Science was established. Dr. Holmes
spoke to overflow audiences on Sunday
mornings at the Ebell Theatre in Los
Angeles and also broadcast his message
via a live radio program on CBS.
In addition to the classic work The
Science of Mind, he founded the monthly
magazine, Religious Science, which later
became Science of Mind. He is the author
of several other inspirational books
including This Thing Called You, This
Thing Called Life, How To Use The Science
of Mind and Creative Mind and Success.
Based
on the teachings
of the great
philosophers,
the sacred wisdom
of both Eastern
and Western
traditions,
and the empirical
nature of science,
The Science
of Mind offers
a philosophy
of religion
and psychology
emphasizing
the limitless
potential of
the human mind.
This book undertakes
to show you
how you may
pilot your entire
life. Holmes
explains what
your mind is,
what you may
do with it,
and what you
may expect from
it.
It
has been said
that the hardest
thing for
human beings
to do is to
know themselves
and change
themselves.
But it can
be done, and
The Science
of Mind imparts
a technique
for larger
living that
has rarely
been equaled.

Thoughts Are Things
$10.95
The
car was a thought before
it became a thing. The
television was a thought
before it became a thing.
In Thoughts
Are Things
the authors sum up its
content as "the
things in your life
and the thoughts that
are behind them."
Readers will discover
that the key to living
a life of inner peace,
contentment and fulfillment
is to think in creative,
positive, self-affirming
ways. For, in the words
of the authors, "Every
thought has a consequence.
And every experience
has a causative thought
behind it. Thoughts
are things, and all
the things in one's
life have a thought
that precedes them."
Readers will learn that
if they change the content
and tone of the thoughts
behind the things in
their lives, they will
permanently transform
themselves and their
lives--for the better.
If
you are ready to permanently
improve your life
by changing your thought
patterns, this is
the book that can
help you do it.
